Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Daniel McNeill Sr. of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 81, on October 2, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Allen McNeill and Lucy Helen Ward; and his siblings, Bobby McNeill and Dianne McNeill King. He is survived by: his wife Elaine McNeill; his children, Danny McNeill of Greensboro, NC and Kerri Comer (Phillip) of Sanford, NC; his goddaughter Teresa White of Denver, CO; his brother Gary McNeill (Debbie) of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Britini Jennings (Josh), Chase McNeill (Hannah) and Skylar Comer; and his great grandchild Jayden Jennings. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bridges - Cameron Funeral Home (600 W Main St, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ephesus Baptist Church (2724 White Hill Rd, Sanford, NC 27332).
