We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2023, at the age of 88, James Vestal Rackley of Sanford, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarret Vestal Rackley and Mary Bessie Pilkenton Rackley; his wife Shelba Jean Riddle Rackley; his brothers, Rayburn Rackley and Elvin Dale Rackley; and his great grandchild Carson Garner.
He is survived by: his sons, James Michael "Mike" Rackley (Teresa) of Fayetteville, Richard Rackley (Tammy) of Troutman and Mark Rackley (Sandra) of Statesville; his sister Evelyn Riddle (Edwin) of Sanford; and his grandchildren, Lisa, Lauren, Sarah, Anthony, Kaitlyn, Tristian, Jason and Justin. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
