She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Brooks, Sr. and Maggie Mae Newton Brooks; her husband Oscar "Pete" Phillip Marsh; and her brother Robert Lee Brooks, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Rodney Marsh (Melinda) and Becky Schiller (Mike); her grandchildren, Phillip Marsh (Amy), Spencer Berube (Emily), Andrew Schiller (Rebecca Sullivan) and Kelsey Schiller (Max Maerowitz); and her great grandchildren, Lucas Marsh, Olive Schiller, June Schiller, Austin Berube and Ella Berube.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:50 PM at the Cool Springs Baptist Church (1313 Cool Springs Rd, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
