She is survived by : her children, Stephen Capps (Jan) of Wrightsville Beach, NC, Jane Capps Casper (Kenny) of Williamston, NC, Leigh Ann Capps Harris (Dee) of Whispering Pines, NC and Edward Hudson Cotten of Sanford, NC.; and her grandchildren, Morgan Rutherford, Michael Masten, Catherine Groth, Kristine Lindsey, Bonny and Graham Harris.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (202 Summitt Dr, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
