He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Lawrence "Mutt" Thomas and Annie Marie Johnson Thomas; and his siblings, Ronald Thomas, Ricky Thomas, Randy Thomas and Linda Jo Goins.
He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Scott Thomas (Rebecca) of Broadway, NC and Jennifer Thomas Patterson of Spring Lake, NC; and his brothers, Stevie Thomas (Louise) of Sanford, NC and Barry Thomas of Sanford, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
