Linda Campbell McDonald Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Campbell McDonald of Sanford, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Raymond Campbell and Nina Ruth Falls Hines; her husband Michael McDonald; her stepdaughter Michelle Long; and her siblings, Ava Campbell, Johnny Campbell, Doug Campbell and Buddy Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Arnold (Joe), Doug Bolitho (Barbara), Rena Purdy (Jerry), Shannon McDonald (Jennifer) and Scott McDonald (Serena); and her sister Faye Shedd (Bernie). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Manns Chapel Cemetery (3819 Manns Chapel Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516).
