With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Jane Douglas of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Roy Waylon Gaster; and her siblings, Robert Waylon Gaster, Tammy Lynne Gaster and Lisa Dawn Norstrom. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Allean Couturier; her stepfather Dennis Couturier; her husband Joseph Floyd "Joey" Douglas, Jr.; her daughters, Rebecca Douglas and Heather Douglas; her grandchildren, Sammuel Ishmael, Jr. and Ryker Rochelle; and her nieces, Alisha Nordstrom and Allison Silva.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ephesus Baptist Church (2724 White Hill Rd, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
