She was predeceased by: her parents, Lizzie Mann and Hammett Mann. She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Cox; her brothers, John Mann and Charles Lee Mann; her children, Susan Dixon (Robert), James Cox (Tonya) and Stephen Cox (Dalisa); her grandchildren, Whitney Beal (Michael), Jacob Cox (Meredith), Anna Yanders (Lucas), Sarah Dixon (Cody) and Jeremy Cox; her great grandchildren, Alston Beal, Bayleigh Cox, Harper Beal and Hailey Beal; and her pet Guinevere. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jonesboro United Methodist Church (407 W Main St, Sanford, NC 27332).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to be made in Margaret's memory to Jonesboro United Methodist Church where her faith and music touched so many lives.
