She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hunter and Louise Hunter; and her brothers, James Lewis, Bobby, Edward, Varn Lee and Redell.
She is survived by: her sons, Clarence (Christine) and Marcus; her grandchildren, Markel of Washington, D. C., Ardell of Sanford, N. C., Jontae of Sanford, N. C. and Jasmine of Sanford, N. C.; her brothers, Ricky Hunter of Sanford, N. C., James Reid of Sanford, N. C. and James Foxx of Sanford, N. C.; her close friend Dwayne Allen of Sanford, N. C.; and her niece Barsha Walker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at 606 Spruce St, Sanford, NC 27330. Viewing was held on Friday, August 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (719 Wall St, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 17th 2024 at the Lee Memory Gardens (2600 Hawkins Ave, Sanford, NC 27330).
