She was predeceased by: her husband George Wesley Parson; her parents, Aaron Howard and Nora Howard (George Parson); her siblings, James Howard and Martha Rives; and her grandson Adam Scott.
She is survived by: her sister Emily Sawyer; her sister-in-law Rebecca Howard; her nieces, Annette Scott (Scottie) and Faye Halvorsen; her grandchildren, Ian Scott (Pate), Allison Kretlow (Phillip), Ruth Tidmore (William) and Mary Halvorsen; her great grandchildren, Nate Scott, Mason Scott, Cameron Nash (Paxton), Lucian Scott, Walker Kretlow, James Kretlow and Aarlynn Tidmore; and her great great grandchildren, Patrick Nash and Delilah Nash.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cool Springs Baptist Church (1313 Cool Springs Rd, Sanford, NC 27330). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (1313 Cool Springs Rd, Sanford, NC 27330).
