She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Laurin Douglas and Ruth Howard Douglas; her former husband Sammy Ray O'Quinn; her husband Clifton Bryant Ayers; her brothers, Howard Lee Douglas and John Laurin Douglas; and her daughter-in-law Susan Ayers.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Oakley of Cameron, Sammy O'Quinn of Sanford and Brian Ayers of Florida; and her stepchildren, Darryll Ayers (Susan) of Hartsville, SC and Deborah Matthews (Barry) of Sanford. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
