It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman L. Sloan of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Wade Sloan and Willie Inez Womack Sloan; and his brothers, Jesse Warren Sloan and Harold Sloan. He is survived by : his children, Tonya Sloan Rudd (Collins) and Troy Lewis Sloan; his siblings, Elba Mae Sloan Hall (Henry), Edna Earl Sloan Carter (Billy Joe), Aubrae Gray Sloan Patterson and Clifford Sloan; and his grandchildren, Sloan Brooke Patterson, Erica Blain Baker, Harly Michelle Sloan, Lacy Lynn Sloan and Sawyer Lewis Sloan.
