He is survived by: his wife Judith Boswell Hutchens; his children, Steve Hutchens (Kim) of Wilson and Suzanne Holshouser (Paul) of Sanford; his grandchildren, Josh Hutchens (Kelly), Katelyn Holshouser-Verri (Christopher) and Cameron Hutchens (Rebekah); his great grandchildren, Luke, Ethan, Carter, Barrett, Blake Hutchens and Charles Verri; his sister-in-law Patricia Hutchens; his nephew Mike Hutchens (Debbie); and his nieces, Cyndi Hutchens and Beverly Johnson (James).
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cool Springs Baptist Church (1313 Cool Springs Rd, Sanford, NC 27330). A reception will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
