It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Terrence Mullen (Sanford, North Carolina), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his former life partners, Ann Mundy Mullen and Susan Nagelberg Mullen; his siblings, Patricia, Kathleen and John; his stepdaughter Emily; and his parents, Robert Glenn Mullen and Marie Jane Bradley Reilly.

He is survived by : his wife Deborah Mangis; his siblings, Louise, Peggy and Jim; his children, Julia, Robert, Sheila and Sarah; his stepchildren, Paul, Carol, John and Stephanie; his grandchildren, Hannah, Hunter, Emma, Elizabeth, Audrey, Timothy, Eleanor, Lorelei, Alec, Emilia, Noah, Brom, Siege and McKenna; and his great grandchild Jensen. He is also survived by many other family members and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Carolina Trace Country Club (2100 Country Club Dr, Sanford, NC 27332).
