Stephen Mason Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 16, 2025, at the age of 79, Stephen Mason of Sanford, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephen Mason to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mason and Annie Butler Mason; his son Scotty Mason; and his brothers, Benny Mason, Howe Mason and Randy Mason.
He is survived by: his son Rodney Mason (Tammy) of South Hill, VA.; his siblings, Joyce Allen of Sanford, NC., Carolyn Thomas of Sanford, NC. and Henry "Junior" Mason of Lillington, NC.; his grandchildren, Brandy Dover, Brittany Cockram (Kendall Cockram), Brooke Mason (Luke Futreal), Lindsey Cleaton (Drew Cleaton) and Spencer Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Trey, Brycen, Beatrice, Dawson and Katherine.
The family will receive friends from 6- 8 PM on Tuesday (8/19/2025) at the Smith Funeral Home, Broadway Inc. The family also request memorial donations be made to First Health Hospice and Palliative Care, 251 Campground Road, West End, NC 27376.
