She was predeceased by : her parent Claiborne Keister Whitt Jr.; and her husband David Wayne Kelly. She is survived by : her mother Maxine C. Whitt of Danville, VA.; her children, Kerri Eikost (Chad) of Danville, VA, Hayley Loman (Patrick) of Graham, NC, Kaitlyn Kelly of Chapel Hill, NC and Joshua Kelly (Amber) of Sanford, NC.; and her siblings, Cindy Whitt of Raleigh, NC, Linda Adams, Sharon Robertson, Susan Doss, Keister Whitt and Bobby Whitt of Danville, VA.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Saint Luke's United Methodist Church (3090 N Main St, Danville, VA 24540).
