She was predeceased by : her father Lloyd Thomas Eads. She is survived by : her mother Frona Wilkie Eads; her husband John R. Cook; her son Adam Cook (Claire) of Indiana; her grandchildren, Sean Cook and Thomas Cook; her sisters, Donna Hancock (Les) of South Carolina and Gaylene Bedgood (Tom) of Pittsboro, NC; and her nephews, Chris Hancock, Matt Hancock and Ryan Bedgood.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the Duke Cancer Institute.
