With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma W. Womack of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Thelma's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Thelma has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Williams and Maude Brown Williams; her husband Leon Womack; and her brother Max Williams.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cools Springs Baptist Church (1313 Cool Springs Rd, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
