It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Marie Newman of Sapphire, North Carolina, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Griffith and Beulah Mae Lewis Griffith; and her son Steven J. Newman. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Wayne Newman (Amanda), Jennifer Newman (John McKinney) and Kaycee Newman-King; her grandchildren, Clover Penelopi King, Savannah Jade King, Lila Newman, Alex Newman, Savadi Newman and Kegan Newman; and her siblings, Gina Jenkins, Sharon Lovelace and Raymond Griffith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations (100 N Country Club Rd, Brevard, NC 28712).
