He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Frances Pittman Brice; his parents, John Everett Brice and Annie Lee Hinton Brice; his brother Fred Brice; his sister-in-law Linda Johnson Brice; his stepson Ricky Boswell; and his close friend Lottie Barbour.
He is survived by: his caregiver Ann Brice of Wilson; his daughter Tammy Skinner (Donnie) of Pinetops; his grandchildren, Katie Holden (Jordan) and John Skinner; his stepchildren, Diane Hardy (Wayne) of Nashville and Jimmy Boswell of Stantonsburg; his stepgrandchildren, Melissa Cooper (Chris), Tracy Sledge (Charlie), Bobby Joe Stevens (Twana), Samantha Adams (Gundy), Jamie Price (Dwight), Allen Boswell and Timothy Boswell; his great grandchild Everette Thomas Holden; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Izick, Justus Boswell, Conner, Lucas and Madison Price; and his nephew Gerald Brice (Heather) of Macclesfield.
