It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brandon David O'Brien of Scaly Mountain, North Carolina, born in Maricopa, Arizona, who passed away on February 8, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Katherine Gillie, Gene Friar and Martha O'Brien; and his uncles, Mike and Daniel O'Brien.

He is survived by: his parents, Cheryl Friar (Gary Enyeart) of Fort Wayne, IN and David O'Brien (Sheri) of Scaly Mountain; his uncle Gene Friar (Lisa); and his cousin Adam Friar (Lydia).
