He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Buck and Pearly Buck; his sisters, Patsy B. Weston and Elaine O'Neal; and his granddaughter Tammy Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Glen Buck (Cristina) of Jamesville, J. Guy Buck (Wendy) of Yorktown, VA, Jason G. Buck of Scranton and Rose Michelle Jones (Daniel) of Ayden; his grandchildren, Daniel (Emily), Rebecca, Samuel Buck, Chris Hemenway (Collette), Ethan, Walter (Savannah), Jacob, Eric Buck, Jonathan and Ashley Jones; his great grandchildren, Riggs, Kailer Buck, Kaiden McFarland, Sevyn Thompson, Tayleigh McDougald, Kassidy and Za'lon Jones; and his sisters, Sandra Bland (Paul) of Winterville and Lisa Smartnick (Jimmy) of Greenville.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church (1726 Staton House Rd, Greenville, NC 27834). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
