She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Pittman and Annie Laura Williams Pittman; her husband Frank Wahab Fortescue, Jr.; her daughters, Lucy Hope Fortescue and Dottie F. O'Neal; and her siblings, Milton Pittman and Annie Mae Jennette.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura F. Willis (Rocky) of Washington; her grandsons, Vincent B. Berry, II (Jennifer Hemphill) of Durham and Nick Klapp (Nikki) of Washington; her great grandchild Delaney Klapp; and her siblings, Peggy Adams Sawyer of Stokes, Larry Pittman (Felina) of Pinetown and Alfred Pittman of Scranton.
