She was predeceased by: her parents, Al Whitaker, Jr. and Lola Edwards Whitaker Baugham; and her sister Barbara Jean Whitaker. She is survived by: her daughters, Makita Winston of Ahoskie and Queshia Cherry of Rich Square; her grandchildren, Emonjaleya, Amazeyana and Amontraz; her sisters, Lola Burroughs (Steven) of Marietta and Elsie Jacobs of Woodland; her niece Tasha Jacobs of Potecasi; and her nephews, Junior Jacobs of Rocky Mount and Alden Burroughs of Marietta, Georgia..
