He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mason Banks; his son Jimmie Banks, Jr. (Deonna) of Chesterfield, Virginia; his grandchildren, Taijah Banks, Erica Byrd of Kentucky, Racques Sledge, DaMeyl Sledge of Roanoke Rapids and Kaison Parker of Raleigh; his great grandchild Adrian Banks of Kentucky; his siblings, Minister Shirley Banks High (Wayne) of Roanoke Rapids and Raymond Lee Banks of Gaston; his uncle Roosevelt Banks (Doris); his aunt Villa Banks Sledge of Gaston; his siblings-in-law, Violet Bowser of Roanoke Rapids, Randolph Mason of Greenville and Nathaniel Mason of Gaston; and his cousins, Chanie Banks Norwood (Ricky) of Roanoke Rapids, Julie Webb Peters (Alvin) of Virginia, Doris Webb Smith of Virginia, Charlie Banks of Germany, Patricia Taylor and Betty Taylor Gregg of Baltimore, Maryland.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other cousins, relatives, and many dear friends.
