With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Anne Edwards Barnes of Seaboard, North Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Patricia Anne's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Patricia Anne has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dallas Edwards and Dorothy Inez Taylor Edwards; and her siblings, Connie Edwards, Thomas Elliott Edwards and Donald Eugene Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband James Albert Barnes; and her children, Rhonda B. Nale (Billy) of Seaboard, Ricky Barnes (Denise) of Seaboard and Stacey Barnes (Jennifer) of Currituck. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
