He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Robert Lee Deloatch and Dorothy Edwards Deloatch; his wife Shirley Ann Long Deloatch of Seaboard; his siblings, Jasper Deloatch of Hampton and Lorraine Knapper of Jackson; his cousin Alphonza Edwards (Phyllis) of Jackson; and his sisters-in-law, Minister Maybelle Gay of Newburgh and Irene Lassiter of Suffolk, Virginia. He was also cherished by his siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
