In the sacred silence of farewell, Zachary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Zachary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peele and Cleo Coleman; and his sisters, Nonie Mae Lee, Carolyn Coleman and Charlotte Cross.
He is survived by: his brothers, John G. Coleman (Jackie) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Augustus Coleman of Norfolk, Virginia, Marshal C. Coleman (Effie) of Elizabeth City and Donald E. Coleman of Baltimore, Maryland.; and his nephew Kevin D. Cross (Geshia) of Zebulon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Faison's Funeral Care (301 Park St, Seaboard, NC 27876). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church (2949 Fire Tower Rd, Jackson, NC 27845). A burial was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the same location.
