She was predeceased by: her father Charles "Bud"; her husbands, Bumgarner Trucking and Richard "Sonny" Lane Bumgarner; and her brother Ronald Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter Julie Bumgarner; her siblings, Doris Goldman of Little River, SC, William "Bill" Johnson (Patricia) of Rock Hill, SC, James Johnson of Greensboro, Kenny Johnson (Karen) of Asheboro, Ginger Key of Asheboro, Allen Dale Johnson (Jeanette) of Asheboro and Debbie Miller (Randy) of Browns Summit; her grandchildren, Brittiany Lee Barber (Jesse) of Asheboro and Arron Lane Hill (Emily) of Topsail Beach; her great grandchildren, Lilly Hill, Gracie Barber, Violet Lane Hill, Waylon Barber and Wyatt Barber; and her niece Nicole Carter (Kyle) of Asheboro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
