She is survived by: her husband Vernon Brown; her children, Melissa Kidd (Ronnie) of Seagrove, Amanda Pendleton (Graham) of Thomasville and Brandon Brown (Daniela) of Eagle Springs; her grandchildren, Ethan, Elijah, Ezra, Melia Kidd, Abigail, Ava Brown, Bryson Callicutt, Savannah, Ryker and Zane Pendleton; and her siblings, Sandy Rich of Sophia and Joel Summerlin of Randleman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Center Christian Church (6448 New Center Church Rd, Seagrove, NC 27341).
