Dorothy Hussey Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Hussey Smith (Seagrove, North Carolina), who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Quincy Hussey and Mary Owens Hussey; her husband Clarence "Bill" Smith; her son Mark A. Smith; her grandson C. Kevin Smith; and her brother Jabo Hussey.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Smith Caviness (Ricky) of Robbins and Stevie Smith (Lisa) of Robbins; her grandsons, Matthew Caviness (Emma) and Stephen Caviness (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Carra Smith, Abe Caviness and Ali Caviness; and her siblings, Betty Stone of Wilmington, Lola Kidd of Asheboro and Jimmy Hussey (Pat) of Danville, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to flowers, contributions be made to Needham's Grove Baptist Church, Youth Ministry, 359 Needhams Grove Rd., Seagrove, NC 27341.
