Though Sylvia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sylvia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel (905 E Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401). Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Memorial Park (3600 N O. Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405).
