He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vernon Hawley and Ila Peedin Hawley; his wife Peggy Godwin Hawley; his brother Harold Glenn Hawley; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Hawley; and his sisters, Joyce Hawley Fitzgerald and Brenda Sue Hawley Crocker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jackie Hawley (Judy) of Hampstead and Sandra Parrish (Frankie) of Micro; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Adams, Ken Hawley, Sheila Fitzgerald, Russell Fitzgerald, Stephanie Johnson and Greg Parrish; and also Rae Lynn Quick.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Selma Memorial Gardens (Selma, NC 27576).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Pleasant Plain OFWB Church at 1991 Old Beulah Rd, Selma, NC 27576.
