With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delma Gainey Holloman of Selma, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gainey and Molly Westbrook Gainey; and her sons, Ray "Tony" Vaughn and Tommy Holloman. She is survived by: her husband Russell E. Holloman; her children, Shelia Creech (Rick) of Princeton, Keith Vaughn (Lisa) of Pine Level, Phyllis Hudson (Warren) of Selma, Russell Edward Holloman, Jr. (Frances) of Selma and Christopher Holloman of Lillington; her siblings, J. L. Gainey (Maewood) of Clinton, Glenda Vann of Clinton and Diane Edwards of Durham; her grandchildren, Karen Wessberg (Erik), Dusty Ferrell (Tony), Kim Hardwick (Billy), Brandon Vaughn, Ashley Gibbons, Brian Vaughn, DeWayne Holloman and Nicole Holloman; and her great grandchildren, Kasey, Madison, Lexie, Maggie, Tyler, Ethan, Patrick, Savannah, D. J. and Kristen.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Parrish Memorial Baptist Church, 606 Parrish Memorial Road, Selma, NC 27576.
