She was predeceased by: her parents, Needham Ransom and Myrtie Beasley Southerland; her husbands, Norman Ross Peedin and Gene Faison Jackson; her son Norman Ross Peedin, Jr.; her brothers, Needham Ransom Southerland, Jr. and William Southerland; and her granddaughter Brandy Peedin Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Alan Peedin (Darla Parker Peedin) of Selma and Joy Peedin Parham of Wilson; her grandchildren, Mitchell Peedin (Lexie), Daniel Peedin, Jacob Peedin (Michelle), Walt Parham (Jessica), Janna Parham Issette (Glenn), Steven R. Peedin (Angela) and Blair Peedin Runzo (Tom); her great grandchildren, Penelope Peedin, Finn Peedin, Nate Peedin, Carson Peedin, Dylan Peedin, Grant Issette, Baron Runzo, Milana Runzo, John Ross Peedin, Megan Peedin, River Adams and Forrest Adams; and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Daylin Watson, Sara Watson and Aleyna Watson.
