He was predeceased by: his parents, Hessie Pollard and Mattie Prince Pollard; his wife Evelyn Overby Pollard; and his sister Myrlene Young. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Victor Barbour (Frances) of Clayton and Renee Sutton of Zebulon; his brother Harold Pollard of Raleigh; and his stepgrandchildren, Crystal Blackmon, Parker Lewis, Fox Lewis and Trevor Yarborough. He is also survived by niece and three nephews.
