We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2025, at the age of 75, Jimmy Gray Raines of Selma, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Raines and Rosalee Benson Raines; and his siblings, Billy, Larry Raines and Faye Stephenson.

He is survived by: his children, Billy Raines (Jennifer) and Christy Davis (Tony); his wife Denise Bite; his siblings, Randy Raines, Francis Woodell and Jean Carroll; his grandchildren, Cierra Davis-Ricks (Tyler), Katlyn Raines, Gracie Davis-Munoz (Brandon) and Emily Raines; his stepgrandchildren, Wyatt and Willow Sox; and his great grandchildren, Juliet Raines and Brielle Ricks.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home, Inc. (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
