We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Jonathan Blaine Lucas (Selma, North Carolina), born in Smithfield, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Robert V. Lucas (Bob) and Denise E. Pilkington; his stepparents, Charles Pilkington and Victoria Talton; his sister Kelly Calabria (Tony Calabria); his nephews, Evan and Liam Calabria; and his pet Bodie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will hold a private service on Wednesday, September 2 at 3 p. m., which will be live streamed from the Parrish Funeral Home's Facebook page.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jonathan's honor to the Billfish Foundation (https: //billfish.org/memorial) or the North Carolina Nature Conservancy (https: //support.conservationfund.org), two organizations and causes dear to Jonathan.
