We announce the death of Karen Denise Dodge of Selma, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 63. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley B. Smith and Grace E. Smith; her brother James Smith; and her granddaughter Anabella C. Curry. She is survived by: her husband Charles Dodge Sr.; her daughter Chelsey Dodge; her son-in-law Christopher; her stepson Charles Dodge Jr.; her children-in-law, Julie Dodge (Danielle Hall) and Stuart Hall; her grandchildren, Addison Curry, Rylan Dodge, Analise Dodge, Logan Dodge, Lilianna McKitchen, Sean Hall, Channing Hall and Scarlett Hall; and her siblings, Caliese Hall, Wesley Smith and Keith Smith.
