She was predeceased by: her mother Evelyn Capps House. She is survived by: her father Laland House; her husband Linwood Stephenson; her sons, Scott Stephenson (Wandy) and Craig Stephenson; her sister Vickie Fleming; her grandchildren, Lauren Stephenson, Gabrielle Stephenson, Whitley Stephenson and Colin Stephenson; and her great grandchild Santana Peterson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Selma Baptist Church, 1500 N. Webb Street, Selma, NC 27576.
