She was predeceased by: her parents, Onnie Thorne and Annie Woodard Thorne; and her siblings, Charles Gordon Thorne, Ronnie Earl Thorne, Thomas Irvin Thorne, Shelby Thorne Greene and Elsie Jeanette Bizzell.
She is survived by: her husband Eddie C Pollock; her children, Earl Pollock (Wendy), Charles Pollock (Carmon) and Laura Lynn Mitchell; her sister Marietta Massey (Doug); and her godson Preston Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their spouses and children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Crocker Cemetery.
