It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Jernigan Langston of Selma, North Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Jernigan and Lydia Hayes Jernigan; her husband Edward Langston; her stepdaughter Sue Langston Collier; her siblings, Casper, Harvey, Alton, Luther, James Carl, Delton Jernigan, Callie J. Barbour and Etheleen Moore; and her grandchildren, Brian, Michael Tew, Susan Tew Barnes and Stephen Langston.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Edward Langston, Jr. of Selma and Debbie Langston Granillo of Selma; her grandchildren, Allan Langston, Tracy Langston, Josh Barnes, Elisa and Kellan Granillo; her nephews, Ray Moore and Melvin Gilliam Moore; her niece Ellen Radford; her sister-in-law Faye Jernigan; and her niece Debbie.
