He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Earl and Ruth Edgerton Hines; and his brothers, Merlin Gray and Bobby Ray Hines. He is survived by: his wife Raemell Best Hines; his children, Tammy Hines Corbin (Billy), Linwood Earl Hines, Jr. (Beth) and Lori Hines King; his sisters, Brenda Braswell, Peggy Hart and Nina Cockrell (Keith); and his grandchildren, Dustin King, Brittany Peele, Noah Corbin, Joel Hines and Erika Hines.
