She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Thornton and Tempie Thornton; her husband Eddie Howard Jones; her son Ricky Howard Jones; and her siblings, Daisy, Wilma, Hubert and Leon.
She is survived by: her son Robbie Jones; and her brothers, Billy and Jimmy. She is also survived by six grandchildren; more than fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove (503 Raleigh St, Newton Grove, NC 28366).
