He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Lawhon of Smithfield and Alice Hodge (Randy) of Kenly; his sister Adell Sauls of Goldsboro; and his grandchildren, Lauren Lawhon, Emma Hodge, Ayden Lawhon and Mallory Hodge.
