We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2022, at the age of 83, Vernon Mitchell Thompson Jr. of Selma, North Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Mitchell and Helen Grace Myers Thompson; his wife Margaret Thompson; and his siblings, David Thompson, Betty Diven, Jeannie Thompson and Lorraine Fuller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lauren Thompson (Donna Renaud) of Kenly, Helene Pavlovic (David) of Kenly, Lizabeth June Carroll (Donny) of Selma, Wendy Pope (Alan) of Kenly and Rita Carroll (Ricky) of Selma; and his siblings, Roger Thompson of Georgia, Patsy Wilson of Maryland and Evelyn Aquilla of Maryland. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
