Willard Braxton Hinnant Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2023, at the age of 97, Willard Braxton Hinnant of Selma, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Rayford Hinnant and Leora Jones Hinnant; his wife Kathleen; and his siblings, Garland Hinnant of Smithfield and Josephine Little of Kentucky.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Williams of Selma, Julie Jones (Jim) of Raleigh, Jane Hardy (Rick) of Wilson and Will Hinnant (Margaret) of Smithfield; and his grandchildren, Meredith Taylor, Kevin Taylor, Mary Kathryn of Washington, David Jones, Scott Jones, Jason Jones and Daniel Hinnant. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
The family also requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565 and/or to Selma Original FWB Church.
