It is with sadness that the passing of Bryce Melvin Barker of Semora, North Carolina is shared. Bryce, born on December 26, 1946, passed away on July 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Bryce will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Bryce by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Bryce is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Bryce’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Peebles Barker and Hurley Melvin Barker; and his brother Jimmy Wayland Barker. He is survived by: his children, Bryce M. Barker, Jr. (Chip), Catherine Barker Lavoie (Jean-Paul) and Benjamin Michael Barker (Kimberly Shelton Barker); his granddaughters, Adalee and Braylee; and his sister Lynda Barker Imhoff (Jerry).
