We announce the death of Dedra Cochran Morris of Semora, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 59. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Robert Cochran and Violet Faye Rasnake Cochran. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Leslie Morris; her daughters, Lindsay Morgan Morris and Leslie Morris Sofferin (Samuel); and her granddaughter Sadie Gray Sofferin. She is also survived by one brother; and two sisters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (5043 Mt Olive Church Rd, Pittsboro, NC 27312).
