He was predeceased by: his parent Jessie Brandon; his wife Verna Hamlett Brandon; and his brother Michael Brandon. He is survived by: his mother Leona Stewart Brandon; his children, James J. Brandon (Mandy) of Roxboro and Jessica Brandon of Roxboro; his grandchildren, Jared Brandon and Jordan Brandon; and his siblings, Derenda Slade (Tim) of Yanceyville, Lisa Graves (John) of Burlington, Andrea Bradshaw (Carlos) of Winston-Salem, John Brandon (Joan) of Milton, Clarence Brandon (Dorothy) of Blanch, Lawrence Brandon (Lois) of Harrisburg, William Brandon of Semora and Carlos Brandon of Semora. He is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 13876 NC-119, Semora, NC 27343. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church (12578 NC-119, Semora, NC 27343).
